The Industrial Internet, a new technology domain emerged in the United States that connects all the machines and devices in the world, will create enormous amount of growth and productivity in the new era.

“We believe that the concept of ‘industrial internet’ will unleash the next industrial revolution and create industrial value of trillions US dollars,” said Joseph J. Salvo, the director of Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC). Salvo, who is also the manager of one of GE’s complex system engineering laboratories added that “the value will be delivered across the world, generating productivity savings as well as growth in products and services.”
